Despite the blizzard just outside the window, Kidz Klez turned on the heat at the Heritage in Southfield! Highlights of this concert included the band's cover of Teknochek Collision by Slavic Soul Party, and the band's debut performance of Come Tantzen, a "klezmerized" version of Come Dancing by the Kinks. Although only a small subset of the band could be there on short notice, Kidz Klez was honored to be invited to play at the magnificent Detroit Public Library as part of the annual Noel Night celebration in downtown Detroit. The celebration really kicked into gear when the band moved into the lobby, to the delight of the crowd. You can watch the lobby performance in its entirety here.

Kidz Klez was the opening act at the fantastic Ann Arbor youth concert Breakin' Curfew in Spring 2012, and also opened the main stage at the Great Lakes State Fair on Labor Day weekend later that year.
